Wheels and round and round

The challenges at Addicted to CAS and Less is More compliment each other perfectly so I have made a Father's Day card (which of course you do the day before Mother's day!!) and of course another male card from me! I used spellbinders round dies and a background stamp (Round in circles) from Uniko studio and  a  motor bike charm from my stash (did a close up so you can hopefully see it better) and sentiments from SU.

I have also invested in a daylight lamp and though it was better it still wasn't clear so I made a"lightbox" from an old cardboard box and white tablecloth and what do you think... has it made my photos better ???

Well thats all from me and I will try to get  round to look at all you fabulous cards, have been very lax lately due to working full time and my fibromyalgia playing up.Crafting helps by distracting me and I can always stop when it gets to painful but the computer mouse irritates my joints too much...thats why my family kindly bought me a hudle for Christmas which I do use - now that I have worked out all it's functions !!!
Hope you all have a good weekend !

Muse challenge # 59

This is my third posting since last Thursday ...guess being back doing my normal work hours - yay- has given me a boost, and so have spent a great afternoon in my crafty place and tried a few variations of this weeks MUSE card tried bright colours ...even went neon at one point , but none were making me happy until I noticed that they had one theme in common....a repeating pattern going across the way and in rows,(and maybe my card isn't as eyecatching and cheery as Marion's but it really did inspire me!!)Once I had sussed that out the card just came together in a flash *tongue in cheek* :-)  - Pity that the photograph didn't was all over the house trying to get a brighter picture it was either too bright that you could see my shadow in the photo or too dull ,but will keep trying and see if I can get a better picture!

Well I managed to get a slightly better picture on my blog (shows the true colour anyway) but the one on the thumbnails at MUSE is still dark and don't know how to change it there ,any suggestions gratefully received! (even managed to play around and got my signature on it (proud moment) only took me close to three hours all in all ...not bad for me! :-)

Supplies used:-
White cardstock from stash
Baja breeze SU ink and cardstock
Gems from stash
Butterflies (a gift )
Hello sentiment Su tiny tags
Hope you are all have a great week

The Male Room Challenge no. 5

BLUEGREEN and BROWN

I have been struggling with my blog for a wee while now and I asked for some help through with my blog and Kylie from addicted to stamps and more kindly took it on hand and WOW she has done an awesome job and made it like my favourite cards ...CAS! so a huge thank you to her :-)

While browsing through some other blogs I came across The Male Room challenge (another new one to me) and as you know I really quite enjoy doing male cards ...probably because our family is really  male heavy!!
The challenge is to use the above colours  and yes the blue is quite hard to see but I sprayed it on lightly before stamping my image and yes I meant it to be that squint ..it's meant to reflect my hubby's driving (I assure you he is the most careful driver really!)

Supplies used:- cardstock brown and blue from stash, SU lucky limeade and sahara sand
Blue ink - blue food colouring
Brown SU close to cocoa
Sentiments Su and can't remember where I got the the car and the fun sentiment though they were from the same set .
Finally the bits beside the tyres are from a set by Uniko studio -explosion

Thank you for taking a peek and off now to make the tea .....weeeeell after I've had another quick browse!! :-) x

Card concept challenge 5

This weeks challenge for the card concept is these gorgeous colours that just screamed a male card to me and ok I didn't have as bright a green as that one - but lucky LIMEade is close right?
Not quite sure which style it fits but as the rectangles are all overlapping I'm gonna go for the clean and layering or is it graphic hee he Love the different styles of the design team and finding this a fun challenge... ..just wish I had found it earlier ! hoping to try all of the styles though know I will struggle with the shabby chic but isn't that what challenges are about ??

Supplies used:-
SU lucky limeade card stock and ink
Brown and white cardstock from stash
sentiment from SU best dad ever
Thank you for looking! x

Carnival

This week on CASolgy the theme is...

This is my interpretations of it (at the very last minute !) When I think of carnivals I think of those full blown street carnivals with all the beautiful  feathery headdresses and all the glitz! So made the first one... thought it looked a little bit too plain so added the matt and extra stickles but think I still prefer the first !
Also would like to say thank you to Kylie for offering to fix my blog but for some strange reason it seems to have done it all by it's self - weird ...but thats blogger for you!
Thanks for looking x
