Muse DT 154

My turn again to be your Muse this week ...yay !and I made something that it so out of character for me, because I used digi DP paper (pink petticoat digi papers to precise).I recently made this card and wanted to see how it would turn out in more pastel spring colours.Thought it would be great for my MIL Mother's day card as it is in a couple of weeks here in the U.K.

I stamped my image (clearly besotted) then punched out  3 smaller squares from it ,mounted them first on the larger squares then mounted them again on the cream panel. Adhered my digi paper and stamped the sentiment before finally popping on the cream panel to finish,a very simple  card but hopefully it will be inspire you to join in this week - will you use the patterned paper, the flower image ,the3 squares .the layout or simply the colours ?? I can't wait to see!

A late entry to the Muse challenge , missed it last week was determined not to this week !I originally had went for watercoloured flowers on a one layer ...it was a total disaster :) so all my brain could come up with was this (and  it was meant to be a one layer too but well the heat embossing was ok but but then I had another mishap ) so decided to diecut out the sentiment (Reverse confetti)and use some diecut flowers (Little inkers) that were lying around, and then turned the orientation round.

Wasn't until I posted it I realised that the gold wasn't on the sentiment...ah well thats what a late night having fun with friends does to you -addles your brain!

But I did take inspiration from Traceys gorgeous flowers and leaves ,colours,and gold embossing

Seven Hills challenge

I thought I would take part in this months Seven Hills Challenge which is for :-

February 2016 - Fancy Folds Challenge

The rule is more than one fold on your card!

Have been thinking about it over the weekend and knew that I wanted to do a spring fold card , but couldn't think what image etc ...that was until I woke up to snow here today then of course it had to be a Christmas card ! :)

I used Lawn Fawns Seasons tweetings and coloured it with promarkers and a touch of snow glitter on the hat of the middle bird.

With it being over cast I found it hard to get a good picture so had to use my light box... apologies if it look over exposed! but funny enough the photo of the back of the card  to show you the folds came out much better!!

Muse

Just a quick card (is there one of those I wonder ??) for Muse this week.

Our Michele has made an  card that was inspired by a song and she is even including a prize for the person who can guess it!

 My card was inspired by Michele's fun card and a song. I saw the heart from her card and the song that popped into my head was the Heartbeat song by Kelly Clarkson.I hand drew the EKG line and popped up the hearts ,and added the sentiment from CB robots...did I say how much I loved these ???

Before I go I would just like to say a huge thank you to all that took part in my first ever DT spot over at Muse,I was so nervous but I should have known what a wonderful bunch you are and those lovely comments just blew me away!
