MCV7

Another driech day here in Aberdeen ..wish Summer would hurry up!but the good thing is its warm rain today :)...and perfect weather for cardmaking!!
When I saw Betty's magical card this week over on MCV was a bit stumped must admit techniques are not my strongest point so did my usual and made a list of the things that stood out and then shut off the computer so I wasn't tempted to compare mine with Betty's (,then they usually end up in the bin ).But the rules says to use the Muse as a starting point (good job as mine is nothing like Betty's gorgeous one with all those beautiful finishing touches!)
So here is my list:-
Reindeer ......................yup
Navy ,blue and white................... well ok a couple of the colours
Sentiment under the image.......................yeah
Stars ................... yes
Circle of thread...................does pierced circle count?
and finally bling........... plenty there :)
only thing missing is the watercolouring but I did try Betty ,honest!
I have added a close up of the beautiful mirrored stars as they don't photograph too good!

Have a lovely weekend and thanks for taking the time to look

  1. I am also technique-challenged and I love your CAS take on Betty's Muse. It's clearly inspired but also clearly you! So glad you joined us this week at MCV, Jenni!

  2. I think this is a beautiful take on the inspiration muse. I had forgotten all about that reindeer image. So nice to see it in shades of blue!
