Muse 139

I just loved Tracey's simply gorgeous Muse card this week and couldn't wait to get upstairs and start creating.I made one card but felt there was just something missing  (although my son  said that he liked it way better than they one I'm posting!!)so I'll let you let you decide which one you prefer!!:)

The first one I covered it with vellum and used the same image and  inks and blender pen as my posted card...did I ever tell you that I just looove using inks and a blender pen....ok maybe I have said this before :)

I really like the second one I did ,so much so that I couldn't stop faffing and had to do a huge save as I put a huge mucky fingerprint on the front grrr. With this one I used TIm Holtz watercolour paper (rough side) to stamp and heat emboss my image before colouring and popping up on fun foam.
Both cards took inspiration from Tracey's :-

2 Flowers ( I used Clearly Besotted)
Sentiment (by Clearly Besotted)
Different sized fonts
Also think I will join in over at the Playground its been ages ( I've been playing hooky sorry!)..... and I just saw that it is week 200! and Di has generously put up 3 prizes !!!! for this amazing landmark. Thanks Di .
Thanks for taking the time to look

  1. I love them both Jenni! So pretty and beautifully made as well.

    Di xx

  2. These are gorgeous, both are so soft and delicate and fabulous take's on Tracey's cards. I am glad I am not the only one who makes smudges!!

  3. This is so pretty!! I like both cards. Each is beautiful in their own way.

  4. REally lovely, Jenni! Make another for me? I'll be off playing about instead of playing cards this weekend!!!

  5. Oh, I think you do the best faffing in the world when it comes to vellum and ink and blender pens, Jenni! You can faff all day long, as far as I'm concerned. I'm not sure what the word means, but as you can see, I just love the sound of it and I love using it in sentences now!! No, but seriously, both your takes on the beautiful MUSE of Tracey's are positively sensational!! I'm happy to see you at the Playground, too. If you come over to where I'm pretending to feed the donkey and splain the faffing, I'll save you some of my bubbly dinrkie-poo!! Hugs, Darnell

  6. I like both your cards for different reasons. The richness of the watercolouring is gorgeous, but I also love the smoothness of the vellum! Thanks for joining us at Muse this week!

  7. Jenni, both cards are so gorgeous and they are providing me inspiration for future.

  8. Beautiful!! I adore how you did the sentiment on the card you entered!

  9. Jenni Both of your cards are beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing with us this week at Muse!

  10. Both the cards are beautiful!! Love the color you have used!!
