While l was looking for inspiration today I came across the Color Throwdown challenge and it just straight away made me think of a snowman with the blue sky behind him.
I used a Penny Black snowman stamp and then blended some blue chalk for the card using a circle mask for the winter sun, after I had coloured my snowman with promarkers I used a little bit of wink of stella to mimic some frosty sparkle.I then added the sentiment one from years a go but one that is still one of my favourites for Christmas, before popping my image up on foam and that was it done!
Hope you like it and thanks for looking !

You cannot imagine how delighted I was to see your comment on my blog today, Jenni!!! OH, I am so delighted that you are making cards again - blogger has thrown a few new wrenched in the works for us haven't they? I have no clue how to make your posts come to my inbox. Some of us have resorted to free mail systems [FollowIt] works but the delivery isn't immediate.
ReplyDeleteWell, you've only used the cutest little snowman in craft-land! Yours reminds me of the darling little Snowy from Penny Black! I am looking at those colors in a very different way now - yep, SNOWMAN!
With much love, and giant hugs,
