Muse158
It is the last week of term ,yippeee... and the last Monday in March so it is my turn to be your Muse this week .At our school we have a teacher who is retiring soon so I have made a card to give (hopefully she won't be peeking on my blog before then!)
I know she loves pottering about outside so I used a Clearly besotted new release and thoroughly enjoyed colouring it with my favourite technique...yeah blender pen and ink :) but this time I added some yellow chalk to the centres and gently smudged it over one side of the petals.I then grounded my image with smudged green and blue to hopefully give the impression of outdoors before finally adding the butterfly and sentiment.
I mounted it on black cardstock then worried that between the poppies and the black trim it would look more like a sympathy card !! what do you think ??

I hope that I can inspire you to play along with us this week... can't wait to see what you come up with!

No worries, my friend! It is gorgeous with that frame of black. LOve the way you've 'planted' these darling poppies outdoors!
