Allsorts

(Sorry for the truly awful photo but it is so overcast here at the moment!)

Well it didn't take long for my New Years resolution to make more time to do the things that I want to do to be broken ! but did manage to have a peek at the Allsorts challenge which is to use lace and pearls.

Now it just so happens I was in need of a bag for an upcoming birthday so I cut a lacy border using this lace stampin up punch and then diecut the large daisy from a (retired) die also from SU, added a large gem to the centre of it to make it more blingy ...got to have bling on your birthday! and finally added the pearls to the centres of the lace border. The bags I order online in various colours and last year I was surprised how much I use them,! not only for the girls but for men too ....check out my favourite here

Hope you are enjoying your weekend wherever you are and thanks for taking the time to look!

CCM89 Gift bag & tag

This weeks challenge at the crafty cardmakers is:-

Challenge 89 Tag/Card + Matching Gift Wrap, Bag or Box

This is what I came up with .My husband has always enjoyed the James Bond films (can't see the attraction myself ...weeell maybe I can Hee he) so I decorated a bag using that theme.
The tag is made with a James Bond download that I got from a crafty mag that has seen loads of service!! Now I have just got to fill it......

Boxes

Another site that was recommended to me was Out of a Hat Creations and they asked for boxes of any description,so as it's a rainy day here decided to give it a go.
Made the box (lid took FOREVER!!)This isn't what I 'd set out to do but then decided to keep it simple and I confess not really good at the inky ,messy stuff though I would love to be ,they usually end up in the bin!
